BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus

The huge campus is located in Jawahar Nagar, Shameerpet, Hyderabad, and is sprawled across 200 acres of land. On February 20, 2016, Telangana's IT Minister, K. T. Rama Rao, laid the foundation for the second phase of campus development. The state gave an additional 75 acres (30 hectares) to the BITS Pilani Hyderabad to accommodate phase-II growth plans, making it BITS Pilani's largest physical campus.

Ques. Is BITS Pilani residential for students?

Ans. Yes, BITS Pilani is completely residential and offers a hostel facility for all its students. Students may be granted permission to become a day-scholar only under exceptional circumstances where the student's parents or close relatives are residents of Pilani.

Ques. Is the BITSAT score compulsory for admission to the Dubai campus as well?

Ans. No, BITSAT score isn't compulsory for Dubai Campus admissions, and students are admitted on the basis of their qualifying exams in 12th.

Ques. What is the BITS Pilani Hyderabad application process for NRIs?

Ans. NRIs don't have to undergo any separate procedure for admissions. However, those candidates who have citizenship of any country other than India can apply under the International Students Admissions Scheme.

Ques. Is there any provision for scholarships for students at BITS Pilani?

Ans. Merit-based scholarships are available for all the admitted students in the form of tuition fee waivers which range from 15% to 80%.
