- The electronic and communication engineering department is really very good, and the curriculum is great too.
- The college provides a good opportunity for an internship, and we are also eligible for the internship after completing three years of our B.Tech program.
- IIIT Kota has its own training and placement cell that brings the best companies for your placement drive.
- Just contact them, and they will provide knowledge in the best sense, in a good way, with keen interest.
- A fest occurs in the college. There is a library facility where all books are available. There are good classrooms and the facilities are excellent. Sports and extracurricular activities are also available.
- Since we are currently operating from MNIT Jaipur, we can only utilize all the campus and hostel facilities of MNIT Jaipur.
- I was looking for a college where I do not have to opt for a hostel, and IIIT Kota best suits my preference.
Dislike
- The hostel mess provides food of very bad quality, which is why we frequently order food from elsewhere as we cannot eat it

Placement Experience:
Colleges have placements in the final year. Where above 91% of students crack FTE roles and interns every year. The top companies cracked are Codenation, Microsoft, Flipkart, Amazon, Google, Tekion, Gameskraft, Infoedge, Cvent, Signify, CDOT, Samsung R&D, etc. The highest package for 2021_22 is 83 lakhs and for the current 2022_23, it is 52 lakhs. The average package is nearly 15 LPA every year. I got placed in one of these companies at 15 LPA.
Remarks:
IIIT kota provides admissions in B.Tech and M.Tech. In order to get admission in B.Tech one has to clear JEE Mains with a good rank. The cutoff scores for getting into the CSE branch vary every year but it's approx 20,000 for general category students and for the ECE branch it's 30,000. So you have to be in the top 1% in JEE mains in order to get admission in B.Tech. M.Tech programmes are recently started in the college so for those programmes you have to apply through the institute's official website with a good GATE score.
Placement Experience:
Students got eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, OYO, Capgemini, Samsung SDS, Delloite, Cvent, Infosys, Adobe, Jio, and Goldman sachs are some of the previous recruiters. The highest package was 82 LPA and the average package was 14.9 LPA. I also plan to get the offer from some company.
Remarks:
I gave Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) and then appeared in the JOSSA counseling through which I got a seat at this college. The closing rank in 2020 was 29813 for all categories till CSAB round. After JEE exam JOSSA come up with a form on their site we have to fill out and fill in the colleges of our choice, if your rank comes under their closing rank then the seat will be allotted otherwise wait for other rounds. Total 6 rounds are there and after that 2 other rounds of CSAB.
Placement Experience:
In 5th sem, you will eligible for an internship. and in the 7th sem, you will eligible for placement. the highest package was 84 LPA off campus and 32 LPA on campus. No of the offer was more than no eligible students for placement. More than 95% of students were placed from both branches.

Admission was done on the basis of Jee mains score. Fees for one semester of the institute is 104000 and for a hostel is 32000. The branches offered are CSE and ECE. The average package for cse is around 12.5 lpa and for ECE is 10 LPA. The placement percentage of cse is 100% and for ece around 90% for last year. The overall Placement percentage is around 95% and the overall average package is 11.5 LPA.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose computer science because the future is going with the computer and digitalize. all the faculty members are well educated al least they are PHD.because they all are research-oriented so they are not good at teaching but they help you in making good projects and in the research field. The best part of my college is there is no load of exams and the curriculum is too easy in this college and you will explore more extra things in your college.
Remarks:
Any student who wants to take admitted to iiit kota, needs to qualify for jee mains exam. with good percentile and rank fit the range of college cut off, admission is through jossa counseling and it happens in 6 round and one extra round also happen.
Placement Experience:
Campus placements are good but it mostly depends on your efforts with minimal effort too you can get a job. There are adequate opportunities. Campus placements start in the 7th Semester. Top companies include Amazon, Flipkart, and Gameskraft. The highest package is 36LPA and the average is 14.8LPA. The percentage of students is 90%+.
Remarks:
The admission is through JEE Main Rank for the general category the highest rank taken is around AIR 30000. There is also a reservation for other categories. You have to go through JOSAA counseling to get into the college and select this college in your choices of college.
Placement Experience:
The placement of this college is good enough among all IIITs. The last year's highest package was 83 lakhs and most of the students were placed in good companies. If I talk about placement statistics then about 98% of the students are placed in well-reputed companies.
Remarks:
First of all, you have to score greater than 75% in 12th in the CBSE board and in the top 20 percentile in other state boards. Then you can appear in JEE mains and based on the rank you will get the college. If your rank is between 20000 to 30000 AIR then you can get into this college through JOSSA counseling.
