I was looking for CSE with any specialization, and I thought it was the best choice for me at that time, so I went with it.
I had gone for internships on my own, and it was a really good experience out there with lots of industry parameters to learn from.
The placement is awesome. Students are getting placed. This year, the biggest CTC went to 41 lakhs for Microsoft. For internships, the college does not provide; we have to find and apply to our preferred companies ourselves.
The fee is around 2 lakhs, and the book fee and CDC fees are separate, which you have to pay. The scholarship is based on the performance in the first year, and scholarships are given. Campus placements are very good.
Yes, they are awesome! The labs are fully equipped. Sports events are held yearly, and oncce activities are held weekly. They are awesome to attend, so we can enjoy ourselves here while also studying to become better citizens. So, lets attend these activities!
Hostel accommodation is great, with excellent infrastructure and being cleaned twice a day. Washrooms are cleaned every morning.
If I get a good placement for this college, I would say it is the best college in India.

Dislike

Few teachers are fabulous, but at the same time, few of them are the worst in teaching methods. Passing any exams is not too difficult.
Internship opportunities are limited, but a few companies do come and hire only a few students.
Hostel facilities are seriously very bad in my opinion due to issues with electricity, WiFi, and broken toilets and bathrooms.
Absurd rules may be applied on college campuses, such as the specified entry time for the boys hostel being 6 pm, the requirement of apology letters for the silliest reasons, and the hassle of obtaining documents from the college.

Life at Srm

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum and course is fine. I chose btech Computer Science engineering. Faculty is good at teaching and clearing doubts.In terms of exams it's quite easy to pass the semesters all we have to care abt is securing a good grade

Remarks:

I took the management quota for admission but there is an entrance exam which is useful if one can secure a good rank it it otherwise it is same as the management quota. Application form can be found in the srmist.rmp page

SRM - The reality

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is 65% of the current-day requirements. All the faculty members are PhDs and Pg holders. Still, some of them lack the skill to teach. I was looking for Cse with any specialization and I thought it was the best choice for me at that time, so I have gone with it. The exams can be written easily if attended the classes.

Remarks:

I joined SRM through the entrance exam which I applied for online and written the exam online mode. I checked the exam dates and application last dates and everything through srm official website which is available for all.

Read this before you join SRM Ramapuram

Placement Experience:

This college is known for their 100% placements. Companies like Google, Amazon, Wipro, Infosys etc are hiring from the college. Students are eligible for placements from 6th semester. The highest package was 2.02 cpa and the average is 6lpa to 7lpa which is very good package

Remarks:

Eligibility of the course is 75% in both 10th and 12th std. There is a entrence exam called srmjeee with which you can get addmission based on your rank. You can apply the application form at the srm official website. Which are released before the admissions. Exam fees is around ?1200
