LNCT University (LNCTU), Bhopal Admission 2023: Ph.D. Admissions, Reservation

LNCT Bhopal offers B.Tech in 9 specializations and B.Pharm at the UG level. Lateral Entry to B.Tech is  also offered by the university.

The basic eligibility for B.Tech and B.Pharm course is 10+2 with minimum 50% marks and Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics as subjects. For B.Tech Lateral Entry, candidates should have a Diploma in Engineering with minimum 50% marks.

Admission to B.Tech is done on the basis of candidate’s score in JEE Main or CGPET . B.Pharm admission is based on merit in the qualifying exam.

Key Points:

• Candidates should be born on or before October 1992 to apply for B.Tech/B.Pharm admission.
• Those with B.Sc. Mathematics can also apply for B.Tech (Lateral Entry) program.
• 75% of seats are filled through All-India quota; 15% of seats are filled through State Quota; 10% of seats are filled through Management Quota.
• For admission through state quota, candidates have to qualify CG PET conducted by Professional Examination Board, Chhattisgarh.

LNCT University offers BHM, B.Sc., BBA, BPT, BMLT, B.Com. and BJMC courses at the UG level.

Candidates seeking admission to any of the courses should have completed HSC (10+2) with minimum 50% marks. 

Admission to the courses is done directly in the university based on the marks in the qualifying examination.

LNCT University offers a 4-year MBBS course in their School of Medical Science with a total intake of 150 students. The university also provides a 5 ½ BAMS program in their School of Ayurveda. The basic eligibility for MBBS/BAMS course is a pass in 10+2 with minimum 50% marks and Physics, Chemistry and Biology as mandatory subjects.

The admission process MBBS is conducted by the Department of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh. The admission criteria for MBBS is a valid score in NEET. BAMS admission process is conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board, and the selection is done on the basis of valid score in Pahunt Entrance Exam .

• Candidates seeking admission to MBBS/BAMS course should be an Indian National.
• Candidates applying for BAMS through MP Pahunt Entrance Exam should be a State Domicile of MP.
• OCIs/NRIs/PIOs/FNs are also eligible to apply.
• 10+2 appearing students are also eligible to apply.
• The minimum age limit is 17 years for admission.

B.A.LLB, LLM and Master of Cyber Law courses are offered in the university as a part of their Law programs. The basic eligibility for B.A.LLB course is a pass in 10+2 with minimum 45% from a recognized board. The basic eligibility for LLM and Master of Cyber Law courses is graduation in Law with minimum 55% marks (50% for Cyber Law).

Admission to B.A.LLB, LLM and Master of Cyber Law courses is based on the merit obtained by the candidate in the qualifying examinations.

LNCT Bhopal offers 2-year, full-time M.Sc., MHM, M.Lib.I.Sc., M.Com, MJMC courses at the PG level. Applicants should have completed Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field with minimum 55% marks.

Admission to these courses is based on the merit obtained by the candidate in the qualifying examination and the process of admission is conducted by the university.

At the PG level, the university also offers M.Tech in 9 specializations, along with MBA and M.Pharm course.

The basic eligibility for M.Tech is a BE/B.Tech degree in the relevant field with 55% marks. For M.Pharm, candidates must hold a B.Pharm degree with minimum 55% marks. For MBA admission, a Bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognized university is required.

Admission to M.Tech is based on a valid GATE score. MBA admission is based on performance in CAT or MAT score. For M.Pharm admission, candidates must qualify GPAT.

In the school of Medical Science, LNCT Bhopal offers 2-year, full-time, MD/MS program in Para-Clinical and Preclinical specializations with an intake of 17 seats.

Candidates seeking admission should have completed MBBS from an MCI recognized University. They need to qualify PG NEET for admission to the courses.

Key Points:

• Candidates should have permanent or provisional MBBS registration certificate issued by MCI or State Medical Council can only apply for the MD/MS course.
• Applicants must have completed a 1-year internship or should be completing it on or before March 31.
• Those who have completed their primary medical course outside India should need to qualify Foreign Medical Graduate Screening Exams (FMGE).

The university offers Diploma course in Pharmacy and Medical Lab Technology. Along with that, certificate program is offered in 11 specializations in various departments. Post Basic, B.Sc. course (2-year) in nursing is also offered.

The basic eligibility for Diploma course is a pass in 10+2 with minimum 40% marks and with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics as subjects. Candidates applying for Certificate program should have completed 10+2 with minimum 40% and Physics, Chemistry and Biology as mandatory subjects. For the certificate course in Hotel Management, the candidate can be either 8th or 10th or 10+2 pass with minimum 35% marks. The eligibility for P.B.B.Sc course is a certificate course in General Nursing and Midwifery with minimum 45% marks.

Admission to all the courses is based on marks obtained by the candidate in the qualifying examinations.
