You have to read about all fields within these four years, but it will be a good experience for you to have knowledge about all of them.
According to them, training on board a ship is quite an entertaining and skillful experience. You get a very good chance to learn about this field.
The college is regarded as one of the best institutes in Asia for marine engineering, and a lot of companies visit the college for campus placement.
A loan is provided by the local bank of our college. The loan process is very simple. We can easily obtain a loan.
Every year, the seniors select the best cadets who then form a team and participate in inter-college competitions.
Facilities are good; you will get all the basic amenities. However, do not expect to have an air conditioner or room heater.
It is the best in Asia and one of the best in the world for marine engineering.

Dislike

The placement rate of this college is up to 80% and other students secure placements with Mumbai companies. No, my college does not provide internships. We do internships and training in the company where we are placed or at the Calcutta port, which is located next to the college.
This is governed by the government, but actually there is no knowledge of the government about the college.

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester students are eligible for campus placement and company start to visit More than 20 companies are visiting our campus and that is quite enough for 220 students. Fleet management is the mass recruiter of our college at least selecting 32 students 90% get placed during the college tenure only the rest are placed within 1-2 months after college My plan is simply to get a job in a good shipping company as an engineer

Remarks:

First Clear IMU CET exam You will get it on imu. edu.in Reservation for sc st and obc. If u get 10 % lesser marks than the general category students you are going to be get selected like other colleges The level of the exam needs to be tougher and rest of everything is fine like counselling and documents verification which are done by well-certified college faculty

Imu kolkata ( DMET/Meri Kolkata ) for Marine Best review.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester placement commence Many companies like Anglo eastern, v ships, fleet management, chevron, mol, Pacific basin, sci, etc. The placement percentage is more than 80 %. I will take the placement and for sailing after my degree

Remarks:

Here admission can be taken on the bases of the imu cet exam .that is Indian maritime University's common entrance test .every year it is conducted on CBT mode online. According to a decent rank, you will get admission to this prestigious institute. The fee for the Imucet is 700. 12th pass with PCM more than 60% can apply for Imucet. The rank should be within 1000.
