Children’s University is a state Co-Education type University owned by the Government of India. This University was founded under the Children's University Act by Narendra Modi in respect to research overall Development of Children.

Children’s University offers PG courses like M.A., P.G. Diploma, Certificate Courses, M.Phil., M.Sc., M.S.W and Ph.D. MPhil and MA (Child Psychology and English) in regular mode. However, the PG Diploma and Certificate are part-time courses offered by the Children University. 

Admission is based on merit in the last qualifying examinations. In the case of M Phil courses, the admission shall be based on the marks and subsequent rank in an entrance examination held by the state.
