Dharmashtra National Law University(DNLU), Madhya Pradesh was set up in the year 2018, under the recognition of University Grants Commission(UGC).

Dharmashtra National Law University Courses Offered

BA LLB

Bachelors’ in LLB is a 5-year integrated program, focused on providing the students with the information of legal theories along with subjects of arts. The course structure includes regular moot courts activities along with guest lectures from industry experts.

Eligibility Criteria: 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks. 5% relaxation for candidates belonging to reserved categories. The candidate should also possess a valid score in CLAT examination.

Total Intake: 120

Course Fee: INR 2.5 lakhs for boys, INR 2.7 lakhs for girls per annum.

Reservation of Seats

  • 50% of seats are reserved for M.P domicile candidates.
  • If the seats reserved for students in special category are not filled, then those will be allocated to students of the general category with a valid CLAT score.

LLM

LLM or Master of Laws, degree program offered to students who already have a professional degree in the field of Law. The program provides expertise in the field of legal studies, to the candidates. Course module includes thesis and research projects, reviewing the present judiciary system of the country.

The course is offered with a number of specializations, namely

  • Tax Law
  • Environment Law
  • International Law
  • Financial Services Law

Eligibility Criteria: BA LLB, BBA LLB, LLB, BSc. LLB, BCom LLB, from any government recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks. 5% relaxation to students of reserved categories.

Selection Basis: The selection to the LLM programme offered by the University is done by the entrance examination conducted by the university followed by the counselling. The University will not accept the CLAT score for admission to the LLM programme offered by the university.

Ques. Does the DNLU have a grievance redressal cell?

Ans. Yes the DNLU has a grievance redressal cell for acknowledging the concerns of the students. The students can also fill and submit their concerns related to harassment, caste discrimination, admission. The DNLU assures to provide solutions to all the concerns. 

Ques. Does the DNLU have an Internal Quality Assurance Cell?

Ans. Yes, the DNLU has an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) the objective of which is to:

  • Develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in the overall performance of DNLU.
  • Suggest and promote measures for overall quality enhancement of the academic and other related activities through internationalization of quality culture and best practices.

Ques. Does the DNLU have accomodation facilities?

Ans. Yes, the DNLU has hostel facilities for the students along with mess and canteen facilities. The hostels are available for both boys and girls. The rent of the hostel ranges from 50 to 70 thousand per year. The rooms of the hostel are distributed on a sharing basis.

Ans. The DNLU reserves the right to change the total number of seats and break up of seats as per their policy before the final allotment of seats.
