Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences offers full time undergraduate courses in B.A., B.Sc and B.Com for a duration of three years. The number of approved intake of students varies from 320 for B.Com (Hons.) to64 for B.Sc (Hons.) and 32 for B.A. (Hons).

The candidates who belong to Scheduled Caste (ST) category and have completed 10+2 from Odisha Board or any other recognized board are eligible to apply.
For being eligible to B.Sc, they should have opted Science stream in 10+2 and for B.Com, they should have taken Economics/Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects in 10+2.
They must have obtained at least 35% aggregate marks or C+ grade.
The selection of candidates is done based on the marks scored in 10+2 examinations.
There is no entrance test for the students for admission to UG courses and seats are allotted according to the first come –first serve basis.
