The Sankalchand Patel University (SPU) is a private university established by the Nootan Sarva Vidyalaya Kelavani Mandal through The Gujarat Private Universities (Amendment) Act, 2016. For Undergraduate courses:

Most of the under-graduate courses like B.Com., B.Sc., BDS, B.Pharm., BBA, BCA, etc offered by the university take the admission of the candidate to its colleges on merit-basis. Merit-list will be prepared by the university authority which is primarily based on the scores of the 10+2 or any other equivalent examination.
However, for B.Tech. the course admission process includes scorecard of the candidate obtained from the GUJCET examination. Merit-list for the same will be prepared accordingly by the university administrative committee.

For Postgraduate courses:

For the post-graduate courses like M.Com., M.Sc., M.Pharm., MBA, MCA, MDS, MCA, etc. offered by the university intakes the admission of the candidate to its colleges on merit-basis. Merit-list will be prepared by the university authority which is primarily based on the scores of the last graduate degree examination passed by the candidate.

For Doctoral Courses:

Sankalchand Patel University (SPU) offers a Doctoral program in almost all the specializations ranging from technical to medical and management sectors. Admission to the University in the Ph.D. program is based on the entrance test organized by the University itself, followed by the interview process.
After the completion of the process of examination, a merit list will be prepared by the University for the interview process.

Common Admission process for almost all the courses:

Candidates need to apply for this course in the offline or online mode by filling the application (available on the website and in the college admission office) and submitting the same to the administrative department of the college before the due date to avoid disqualification. The application form should be completely filled and attached with all the required documents in all respects.
After submitting the application form, candidates need to wait for the publication of the merit list for the examination process published by the University’s authority, which includes members of the institute. Hostel Accommodation: Spacious and well-planned hostel accommodation along with dining messes is available for boys (648 students) and girls (240 students). The separate common rooms have been provided for girls and boys students and there are provisions for indoor games and other co-curricular activities.
Nootan Sports Complex: Sports facilities at the S. K. Campus include a large playground with a full-size running track, a cricket pitch, football, and basketball nets, as well as indoor facilities such as table-tennis, yoga, chess, and various other games.
