Reputable Univ Review

8.5 /10

It is a reputable STEM school that also specializes in healthcare. It also provides lots of opportunities for my academic career. It is also close to home so it would be easier for me to go home and back.

Course Curriculum :

The course curriculum is definitely rigorous but that is what the university is known for, it really challenges students and pushes them to do their very best. But I think sometimes it is far too difficult to their point where students feel like giving up.

Placement :

I think there are a lot of job opportunities for many levels, entry-level or experienced that are available to undergraduate students and graduate students. But I am not sure if there are job opportunities for that outside of the school.

Internship :

Yes, but I have no experience. I just started at this university so I am still trying to figure out my studies and make time for other things such as an internship or a job opportunity. I can not speak for the college internship experience

Events :

Welcome week, Welcome freshmen students, Christmas events. Some colleges host a winter themed event, Chinese New Year Celebrates Chinese new year Warren Live Concert of some previously famous musician Sustainability week Educate on conserving the environment Sun God festival Music festival

Fees :

Health insurance, Transportation fee, Maintenance fee, Recreation fee, Athletics fee, College activities fee, Student service fee, University Center fee, College fee, Campus activity fee, Registration fee, Tuition.

Scholarship :

Yes, you simply tell the provider of the scholarship what school you go to and the address of the financial aid office. Then the university decides how to distribute the scholarship. If it's government aid then it's slightly more complicated.

Examination Structure :

The exam structure depends on the professor. But usually, there is a midterm or two and the final exam during the last week of the quarter. There are exams that are multiple choice, short answer, and essay prompts.

Faculty :

The sometimes I think the faculty is nice and friendly but I also think that the administration does not care about the students or employees, only money. But I know the faculty are doing their best to run the university.

Hostel :

I live off campus, University of California, San Diego provides a free pass for the bus which accommodates commuters. They also host events specifically for commuters that provide them food and entertainment.
