Latest Updates: Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana releases the application form every month except April for the YIC program. For the Year 2023, the College has released the form for this month also. The Candidates can apply till the 30th of every month.

YIC, Yoga Instructor Course is a monthly program that is conducted by SVYASA. It is held every month except April.

  • The Class Schedule is from 5 AM to 7:30 PM for YIC. It starts on the 1st and ends on the 30th of every month
  • Minimum Eligibility for this Course is to secure 50% marks in 10+2 examination or PUC 2 or 2 Years of Diploma with basic English knowledge.
  • Reservation facilities are also available for certain categories according to government norms.

SVYASA YIC Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria for YIC Course would be as follows:

  • For taking Admission into YIC (Yoga Instructor Course), Candidates must have secured 50% in 12th class with basic English knowledge.
  • Candidates can complete 10 + 2 Examination with basic English knowledge.
  • Candidates can complete PUC with basic English knowledge.
  • Candidates who have completed 2 years of diploma with basic knowledge of English can also apply for the YIC course.
  • Candidates can apply for any of the above Examinations or can apply for any Equivalent Examination to take Admission into YIC Course.

Selection of Candidates for YIC Course at SVYASA will be based on Merit in 12th class or Diploma.

How to Apply?

Admission forms for the 2020 session at SVYASA Distant Education (DDE) can be filled in both Online and Offline Mode. The form can be availed at the official website. Given below are the steps to apply for YIC at SVYASA:

  • Visit the Official Website of the College 
  • Fill in the form with all the required details that are asked.
  • Upload all the documents as per the given instructions.
  • Pay the prescribed application fee through Net Banking.
  • If the Candidates are filing the Admission form through the offline mode, payment can be done through Demand Draft (DD).

  • Three passport size photographs
  • Six passport size photographs (for the foreign students)
  • Marksheet of high school
  • University Certificate (attested)
  • Health certificate
  • A printed copy of the Application form
  • A printed copy of fee receipts
  • Photocopy of passport and visa with valid verification (for foreign students)

SVYASA YIC Course Details

Some Major factors about the YIC Course are as follows:

  • SVYASA follows the syllabus according to the QCI curriculum. QCI exam level I, with the YIC course is organized every month.
  • 90% attendance is mandatory for the students.
  • Class duration ranges between 5 AM to 7:30 PM.

The syllabus for SVYASA YIC is divided into two sections: Theory and Practical. Given below are the details of the syllabus:

SVYASA YIC Fee Structure

Fee details for Indian as well as foreign students are as follows:

For Indian Students:

Dormitory Accommodation INR 30,000 (per participant)
3 sharing Accommodation subjected to availability INR 40,000 (per participant)
2 sharing Accommodation subjected to availability INR 50,000 (per participant)
Single Occupancy Accommodation subjected to availability INR 60,000 (per participant)

For Foreign Students:

Single Occupancy Accommodation subjected to availability. $ 2500 (per participant)
Double Occupancy Accommodation subjected to availability $ 2000 (per participant)

YIC Fees excludes QCI fees. QCI fees to be paid extra if needed.

SVYASA YIC Placement Details

The Training & Placement Office of the College invites all eligible students to take an active part in the Placement Process for the Placement Season. As the YIC Course is of 1 month, Candidates doing other Courses should also do this Course as Eligibility. So, Placements for YIC Course would be the same as for other Courses.

The College has many Placements and it invitees many companies to visit the College and select the students to get enrolled in their company.
