My University

PK
8.3 /10

I just googled it.

Course Curriculum :

The pressure was very low because everyone was very supportive to everyone even for local students as well as international students. There was no such pressure like you have to do well no matter what or you have to get this much grades. The most pressure that you got when you went to the university is that you have to make sure you are not going off track and you are not going away from studies. Focus on your studies like just do the basic part of the education. Whatever has been taught in the class, if you just apply it in the exams, you will pass with very ease.

Exams :

I went through an International Educational Portal. It was very easy. They just gave me a list of documents that they needed. Once I sent the documents, I was ready to go abroad. I did engineering, so, I just had to give proof of that and a proof for English language as well. I just had to prove that the education I had done till now was in English language. No, I didn't had to submit SoP or LoR.

Placement :

Singapore is a country where they prefer permanent students over international students to give placements. So, I didn?t get a chance to do one.

Fees :

S$61,632

Faculty :

The student teacher ratio kept changing. Faculty was completely diverse. There were Indian faculty, Australian faculty and Singaporean local faculty. Same goes for students and other staff members. In the university, it?s like Indian people will get with Indian people. No matter how hard you try to make friends internationally, it is almost impossible to not make Indian friends. So, as soon as you went there, you have meetings with the cultural committees. They come and explain like we are here to help you out. Through that, you contact with different people as well.

Campus Life :

It had everything. The change from Indian university to abroad university is huge. It?s completely different. It included online library to physical library, checking out books, keeping the books for as long as we want until it updated in the system. For sports facility, we had a basketball court, table tennis court, pool tennis, badminton court. Some areas of the university were for dancing classes and stuff. There were a lot of extracurricular activities like volunteer programs, sports day and fashion show events. Before you start taking classes, there were get together with other people like outings.

Hostel :

There is on-campus accommodation available. It is called the Baker House. Students can stay there and pay for whole semester. For one person per room, it is around 350$-400$ and it includes food, electricity and everything.
