Sae Institute review

9.2 /10

I opted for SAE as it had an amazing reputation when asking other people who have graduated. In this institute, students are being taught by industry professionals who are actual filmmakers who work in the industry.

Course Curriculum :

Although we could use more time for projects as in fact the amount of time we spend for pre-production for projects such as documentaries and short films are not enough to then go out and shoot and then have to do a post as well.

Placement :

SAE helps a lot with trying to get the job opportunities people admire to find, there are Facebook groups made by lecturers which help us get into the industry much easier and start earning money as soon as we can.

Internship :

This institute provides an internship in working for a cine fest film festival where we got to collaborate and mingle with a lot of professional and very known filmmakers. As well as getting the opportunity to create showcase videos which then later were shown in the cinema.

Fees :

I myself being an international student had to pay fees upfront and have to pay in advance for every trimester

Examination Structure :

The exam structure is very understandable. SAE provides a wide range of exams which vary with the course one wishes to do, all exams are related to the course such as filming myself and help me learn in a creative way.

Faculty :

This institute is a very good institute with a lot of great industry professional teachers who help out and are available for every student at any call.

Hostel :

This campus does not contain accommodation here in Perth so I had to go out of my own way and find myself a sharehouse that is very close to SAE with a lot of public transport around to get to where I need.
