Curtin University offers MSc in Computer Science for a duration of 2 years.
It is a course-based program offered on a full-time basis.
Computer science is fundamentally about applying computing theory to information processes.
This course will extend student's prior knowledge and experience of computing, and prepare them for research, teaching, and further graduate studies.
The Computer Science Major program is consists of 125 credits of core units.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students must have a bachelor’s degree in science or 1-year full-time with honours or a postgraduate diploma from a recognized University.
Or, students must have a recognized bachelor's degree in science with competency in computer science or a related discipline to the level of second-year tertiary study.
Students need to complete Australian Year 12 (VCE, HSC, QCE, WACE, SACE, TCE, NTCE, ACT) with a minimum Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) of 70 or equivalent to be eligible for this program.
Students must hold a scaled mark of at least 50 in English, Literature, or English as an Additional Language or Dialect.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet the following eligibility criteria:

Completed a UG degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Students must have an Indian School Certificate or All India Senior School Certificate with 60% in English subject.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission into this program.
