Course Curriculum:

My course work is based on SFU's which is not pretty when it comes to certain courses like Data structures, OOPs and Algorithms but they are necessary since I will be short on credits otherwise. Everything else is either basic math based on discrete structures along with basic calculus or hardware courses and electives so the course is moderately difficult but sticks to the current needs of the industry.

I chose langara since I couldn't seek direct admittance to SFU CS program. I hadn't even heard of an associate degree when i applied right after 12th. I was told that i didn't have the marks to get into SFU and was shown this as an alternative path. I'll be able to complete my first two years for cheaper as compared to SFU. Along with saving a ton of money, I'll get into SFU with repeating courses at an average of 3.00 GPA which is very manageable. I would call it a huge surprise since I never thought I would be attending a college instead of a university but I wouldn't change anything about it since I saved a ton of money along with securing a great overall GPA. I was also able to save money to buy a car of own in about a year. So my hunger for good performance is satisfied.

Course Curriculum:

The courses are mixed all together. Some are interesting while others are not. But all courses are easily manageable with no big issues at all.

Course Curriculum:

So far it’s pretty good and smooth.

Fees:

My parents and grandparents covered the cost for me but I am paying my parents 130$ weekly. They would not tell me how much the program costs. From what I know the program is not very cheap as it is located in central Vancouver and many people wanted to get in the program due to it being very closeby for many of the people who attend.

placement: 8/10
extracurricular: 8/10

Course Curriculum:

All the courses are perfect for beginners. It includes many programming languages and graphic designing as well. Covers mostly all the important programming languages.

Fees:

Fees are like triple for international students compared to national students. If a national student is paying $550 for course than an international student will be paying around $1850 per course. There are scholarships available but are mostly for national students. The scholarships are based on the activities you perform during the program, your academic performance and volunteering.

Course Curriculum:

My course curriculum is very hard and challenging. There lots of main courses some of which require an enormous time in order to pass them. Other than that they let you take some easy courses too.

Fees:

The fees are very high for us international students. The residents and citizens pay a whole amount of fees tor their programs that often are equal to just one-semester fees of an international student.

Course Curriculum:

Adequate, courses are detailed and profs are very approachable. lots of open labs and practical opportunities. There are also office hours that are available. The courses cover everything from anatomy and physiology, biomec, and active health that will prepare me to be a PE teacher

Fees:

Fees are transit passes, food expenses, and course fees, and recreation fees. not expensive compared to the university of british columbia. other charges include textbooks and online codebooks and other resources.

Course Curriculum:

My opinion on the course curriculum is that there are sometimes question about. Not pertaining to the specific program that I am in but other program courses that seem to have courses in them that doesn't look like they fit.

Fees:

A specific price per credit. There were also random student building fees and other fees. Fees for labs too.

Course Curriculum:

It is watered down with high school material, especially from the grade 12 level. It is at a faster pace however I would prefer to learn more advanced, college appropriate material. The curriculum is bearable but not ideal.

Fees:

I pay $1500 tuition fees per term, a $50 fee for a recurring monthly bus pass. I live at home, and there are no living campuses.
