Good business program, diverse community, large and well funded school, great location
Course Curriculum :
The course syllabus is very updated. We had a lot of practical experience in our classes. It is more based on actual learning than memorization. We get to have a lot of group projects and interact with our peer's which makes it for a very well rounded experience.
Exams :
Ielts - 8.0, Normal high school grades (ICSE, ISC). Essay requirements as well as 2 video interviews were required for completion too. A letter of recommendation I uploaded on the website as well.
Placement :
Great opportunities. KPMG, Deloitte, Goldman have all recruited at UBC Sauder. Students are well connected to industry professionals. Most students are usually placed in a job. Median salary is approximately 40,000$ in the first year of work.
Events :
Lots of extracurricular activities. Sports facilities are great. Libraries are large and extensive. Wifi across campus. Research facikities are well equipped.
Scholarship :
No
Faculty :
The ratio is around 30:1. The faculty and staff are extremely experienced. They are very approachable and know a lot about their field. Joe Patt from Op-Log Comm 204 is my favorite prof and left an impact on me.
Hostel :
Most rooms are single bedroom. Some are sharing. Rent is cheaper than the city's average.
