Sciences at The University of British Columbia

This university had the program I was interested in and was the most reputable university close to where I lived. I did not want to move too far.

Course Curriculum :

Course syllabi are always updated and relevant to the class and professors do a great job of teaching. Lots of research experience in my major is provided in years 2 and 4

Exams :

I didn't write any tests for admission. GPA minimum is 75% for being able to apply.

Placement :

I am not sure about post-study placement but I think it is quite high. Can make good connections for research-related positions while in school.

Events :

Lots of clubs on campus and a lot of research opportunities. There is a club for almost every interest and if not students can start their own clubs.

Scholarship :

Outside of UBC I received a few but none through UBC

Faculty :

I don't know the ratio but stand are great and do a wonderful job of teaching. are always willing to help and to just talk about academic experiences

Hostel :

I lived in residence first year and it was really nice - shared a bathroom with 1 person and had a nice view. food was pretty good. hard to get residence the next year so got an apartment not through UBC but on campus
