I chose this university as its business school had a very good rating and it has one of the most beautiful campuses in the world
Course Curriculum :
The course curriculum and academics are very easy to understand. Our entire curriculum is properly divided into parts so that the students don’t feel pressured while doing university work. There are professional professors teaching all the subjects and it is overall a very nice learning environment.
Exams :
I took the ielts and scored 8 bands overall with me scoring 8 bands in each of the sub parts which include verbal, writing , speaking and listening repectively. I also took the SATS but they did not help me in any way for my application to this university in particular. I scored a 1400 in my Sat.
Placement :
There are a lot of options for students doing bcom in aspect of future placements. After our second year we can choose a subject we would like to specialize in and then we can persue a career in that course. For me I am hoping to take real estate as a major in my third year and then work in this sector in the future
Events :
The campus life is really fun. There a re a lot of things to do on and around the campus. Students can visit the beaches that surround the university or take the bus or subway and eoam around in downtown Vancouver. The entire campus is filled with restraunts and clubs where students can chill amd take the stress off. But due to coronavirus most of these things may be closed so future students need to keep that in mind before travelling to the university.
Scholarship :
I got the exceptional performing international student scholarship for 10000 dollars
Faculty :
The facutly to student ratio for most subjects is very good. There are some classes where there a re a lot of students though. All the professors are trained professionals who are masters in their respective foelds and it is a previlage to study from them.
Hostel :
The accomodation facility in the university is also very nice. There are different accomodations provided for different year students and students can choose from a variety of options including studio apartments and shared accomodations
