It has always been my dream to move to vancouver, and BCIT is a reputable college that offers a prestigious marketing course as well as on campus student housing. The school was reccommended to me by a former employer.
Course Curriculum :
BCIT has a reputation for giving its students all of the tools they need for success - the course load can be a challenge but it provides students with all essential knowledge and furthers their career success.
Exams :
No entrance exam were required to complete in order to apply for this course at this particular school.
Placement :
One of the reasons I picked this school is because of the alumni success rate in gettig a job - something like 90% of BCIT students get hired right after graduation which is an imoressive rate and speaks to the quality of education recieved here.
Internship :
As part of this program it is necessary to complete a 10-week internship in a position relative to your specialization - this is helpful in terms of providing real world experience and forming industry connections.
Events :
There are a wide variety of clubs and organizations that put on different events for the school- these include movie nights, paint nights, free lunches, free massages, pub nights, informational seminars, etc.
Fees :
Tuition fees include the cost of the courses as well as a buss pass and dental plan but these can be opted out of.
Scholarship :
No, I have not availed any scholarship or financial aid from this scholary institution as I am not eligible
Examination Structure :
The exams are, for the most part, multiple choice questions - this format works well with the course content. course concepts are usually applied during projects or assignments throughout the term while exams test knowledge.
Faculty :
The staff at BCIT all seem to hold student success as a high priority - every instructor is personable and will offer as much help as they can in order to contribute to their students academic success.
Hostel :
I currently reside on campus in the provided student housing which is a supportive and positive living environment that offers a comfortable living space and promotes participation in group social activities.
