A story of International Student

I applied for this program in like 5-6 colleges but I had offered the same course from just Lambton. I had completed my Grade 12th in India. I didn't know in which college to go or whatever before I came in. I was just sure that I didn't want to study back home. And then this college is in town which is not so expensive to live in. So a good option to come.

Course Curriculum :

The faculty for Pharmacy Tech in college is pretty nice and fun. For sure I can say you will feel homely around them. Moreover, if you're Bachelors's in Pharmacy back home then this program would not be so hard. But for post-secondary, also known as 'UNDERGRADUATES', this program would take a lot of hard work and confidence at that. I would rate the difficulty for undergrads on a scale of 10, 8.

Exams :

I completed my high school with Biology as my choice of class and chemistry and physics as a compulsory class. I was sure from my secondary school days that I would be studying medical or paramedical. But in high school, I didn't score enough for medical or paramedical. So I didn't have any chance to go study in another field. I decided to come here and found out about this program so I chose this.

Placement :

They set your placements in some of the most famous places or some of the most ranked places around the country, Canada. Moreover, almost every other week, there is a company visiting campus with job opportunities, most of them giving more pay than the legally required. The rules and regulations at the College are no doubt strict, as the College ranks in Top 5 of the strictest colleges around the country, but they work hard for us as well.

Internship :

College doesn't provide on-campus jobs, but they offer Co-Op for some programs for sure. They also provide some sort of coaching on how to build a resume, how to group jobs and how to apply and stuff. They also give interview preparation classes for undergrads or inexperienced interviewees. Moreover, they talk to some organizations to offer works to international students. To rate them on the scale of them, I would say they are 9 on 10.

Fees :

So the fee varies term by term. But the approximate value is around $6,500 every term. It includes facility fee, international premium, international health insurance coverage fee, international service fee, tuitions, student ID fee, placement setting fee, etc. They have the facility of scholarship. The scholarship is given to the top-ranked student of the class and is awarded a name on Dean's Honour List.
