They pride themselves on diversity and acceptance of all, and they have so many extra resources and activities\clubs for their students to get involved in to create an even closer bond between classmates.
Course Curriculum :
This course curriculum is great, although the one thing I would change is the amount of Accounting that is required. I have talked to real accountants that have never done some of the things that we learn, and I just think this amount of Accounting knowledge should be required for the Accounting specialization, not for the Business Admin year 1. Other than this I love the curriculum and the classes we take.
Placement :
Job opportunities are huge which is part of why I chose this program. The teachers actually have a job postings page that they update constantly and send to students to help them get their placement and jobs, which I think is very helpful!
Internship :
I am not entirely sure! I think that they do, but I have not personally had this experience, therefore I cannot expand on it as much as another student from Assiniboine Community College could.
Events :
At Assiniboine Community College we celebrate pride, all holidays(Christmas, Easter, Saint Patrick\'s Day to name a few), spirit week, pyjama day, and there are also tons of events for students outside of school hours, like socials and parties, with cheaper entrance fees.
Fees :
Some charges at ACC include a parking pass, half the year for 80 dollars, and the full year for 120 dollars. You also have to purchase textbooks, which are not cheap, but when you are done with them you can sell them back to the bookstore and they will pay you what it is worth to them. They also give you the option to buy those resold textbooks if you can\'t, or don\'t want to, buy the expensive new ones.
Scholarship :
I have student loans right now, and I do not have to start paying them until 6 months after I am completely finished with the school, which is great because it gives me time to find a full-time job and start making some money before I have to worry about that cost! As for the process, it is very simple to attain!
Examination Structure :
The exam structure is good! We do most of them in the gymnasium, and they are easily understandable. If there are confusing questions, the instructors do their best to help me understand which usually they do.
Faculty :
Great! I don't think I can complain at all, the school is easy enough to navigate, the resources are extraordinary, and the vibe of the school is very welcoming and approachable.
Hostel :
I live at home, I did not have to travel anywhere for the perfect college which I was very happy about! For other students, though, there are many places near the school that rent to college students for the length of their schooling.
