After doing IELTS in India I applied for offer letters of three colleges and I got offer letter of this college very fast than other colleges. Moreover, it's a government college. I heard about this college from my agent. He told me all the procedures of this college. Admission requirements, fees and about semesters.
Exams :
I joined the business program because my dream is doing my own business one day. Mathematics is my favourite subject which this course includes. In this program there are other subjects like accounting , communications and marketing which are all related with businesses. Human Resources is also a part of this program which teaches about Canadian Laws , rules and regulations. . As I got 3 GPA in one and second semester and hoping the best in next semesters too.
Placement :
As we all know experience for work is required for every job which a student who had just passed 12th and came to Canada does not have. So he/she faces a lot of problems in finding jobs. I have visited one company which is Microtel. I was a receptionist as I had some experience of handling calls and guests, booking online reservations for stays in hotel . So jobs roles sometimes offered may be out of one's experience.
Internship :
This college does not provide any opportunity for jobs. As this college is located in a very small city so there are not enough jobs to do. Taking example of me I am unemployed as a student . I don't have any job.
Fees :
scholarships are not available for International students. All the scholarships go to domestic students. Whereas international students pay $ 7000 or above for each semester. Approximately $ 30000 for 4 semesters that is 2 years study. students get bursaries sometimes of $500 .
Faculty :
This college tries its best to give Better to students and teaching methods are also very good of this college. But distance learning is difficult as one can't sometimes understand any question and Professor sitting in another campus can't talk face to face with that student and solve his issue.
Hostel :
I live in a house whose rent is $ 300 . Wifi and all house cleaning facilities are included in it. Off the campus it goes well. Because in the campus meal is not free we have to pay for it which cost triple more than off the campus living on a rent.
