The main selection criteria for admission in MBA is based on the valid marks in the MBA PGCET/ CAT/ MAT/ ATMA/ XAT or any state-approved MBA entrance exam followed by an interview.

  • All students seeking admission under AIMS, Bangalore need to apply online. Below mentioned are the steps to be followed:
  1. Visit the official website of AIMS Bangalore and create a student ID through the admission portal.
  2. After completion of the initial registration log into the portal. You will be redirected to the online application form.
  3. Fill the details asked such as year of intake, admission type (either Management quota or through Government quota), category, academic and personal details.
  4. Upload the documents mentioned below:

Course Curriculum: To impart knowledge, skills, attitudes and competence among the prospective students, MBA curriculum involves case study, debate, group discussions, management games, outbound training, assessment by individual and group presentation, quiz, real time projects, role play etc.

Scheme of Evaluation: Evaluation scheme of MBA course is as follows:

  • Internal assessments are carried out for each course in a semester and are evaluated based on assignments/ projects /case study and performance in mid & end semester examinations. A weightage of 30% is given for IA in the graduation transcript. 
  • Comprehensive examinations with a weightage of 70% and capstone project/ case study (CP) with a weightage of 100% in the graduation transcript are conducted at the end of program. 
  • Final grade for a student is based on aggregate % of the sum of weighted scores in CE, IA & CP out of 200.
  • Candidates have to secure a B Grade (aggregate of 50% and above) in the final grade for course completion certificate by the institute.
