Location Facts

Located in district of Dahlem in southwestern Berlin. There are three more campuses located in Lakwitz, Duppel, and Franklin. 


It has two sites, one located in city center and the other in the suburbs of Vaihingen. Neighboring institutions include Fraunhofer Institute, and German Aerospace center. 


Library

University Library System is the biggest in Germany; consists of University Library (UB) & 15 departmental libraries; holdings of 8+ million printed items, 70,000 e-journals, 500,000 e-books, & 1,600 databases.


Books Inventory: 1.64 million, Ebooks over 80,000; 29,700 electronic and 1145 printed magazines are housed at the university library. e-magazines and specialist databases are available for free access.

Located in the South of Germany, is one of the most preferred student cities. It is home to the headquarters of Porsche and Daimler.
