AIIMS MBBS Stray Vacancy Round Seat Allocation Released; Admission through NEET Score


All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has announced the conduct of the stray vacancy round for the MBBS course for this academic year on January 12, 2021.

AIIMS, New Delhi has also declared that the AIIMS MBBS 2020 entrance exam will not be held this year. Instead, candidates will be granted admission in MBBS through score in NEET 2020

AIIMS has also released the vacant seat details for the stray vacancy round. A total of 119 MBBS seats are vacant. Out of the 119 seats, 3 are available at AIIMS Mangalagiri, 17 at AIIMS Guwahati and 15 at AIIMS Jammu.

While AIIMS Patna, Telangana, Bhopal have only 4 seats each for the MBBS stray vacancy round. AIIMS Rae Barelli has 10 seats left while Rishikesh has only 6.

AIIMS, Bhubaneshwar, Raipur, Bilaspur, and Jodhpur have 2 seats each. AIIMS Rajkot and Deogarh have 12 seats each for MBBS stray vacancy round.

Further, candidates targeting for AIIMS Bhatinda and AIIMS Nagpur would have to compete for 5 and 1 seats respectively. 9 seats each are available at AIIMS Gorakhpur and AIIMS Kalyani.

The stray round will be held on January 12, 2021, at 8:30 AM at Jawaharlal Auditorium, AIIMS, New Delhi for the vacant seats.
