New Delhi: Ajeenkya DY Patil University has begun the application process for admission to PhD programmes for the academic year 2022-2023. Candidates can apply online through the official website adypu.edu.in 

Ajeenkya DY Patil University conducts an entrance test for admission to the PhD programme. The entrance test will be 100 marks in the form of MCQs. After successfully conducting the entrance examination a personal interview will be held for the selected candidates. 

Candidates who have not received their final year Master’s or MPhil degree mark sheets or certificates can also apply for the course at Ajeenkya DY Patil University . However, candidates should fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria and produce the same at the time of admission.

Candidates who have qualified UGC-NET/AJGC-CSIRNET/SLET/GATE or teacher fellowship holders will be exempted from the entrance examination conducted by the University. Candidates who have qualified M.Phil degree will also be exempted from the entrance exam.

Candidates must have a Master’s degree with at least 55 per cent marks in aggregate or equivalent. Grade B in the UGC seven-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in the particular discipline. 

Selection Process: Candidates will be qualified based on their merit in the entrance examinations such as UGC-NET/AJGC-CSIRNET/SLET/GATE/Entrance Test conducted by the University. Selected candidates will have to appear for Personal Interview rounds and Research Aptitude.
