AKTU B.Arch Admission 2021 to be Based on NATA Scores, Check Official Statement Here


Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Uttar Pradesh has officially issued a directive for the admission of the Bachelor of Architecture programme (B.Arch) in AKTU for the academic year 2021-22. 

According to the AKTU directive, the admission process for the B.Arch programme will be based on NATA scores, this year. Candidates willing to take admission in the Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) programme will have to qualify NATA with a desired score to be eligible to apply at AKTU.

The notification regarding the B.Arch Admission process 2021-22, was shared by the varsity on its official Twitter handle. It was tweeted that those who wish to apply for admissions to the B.Arch course for the academic year 2021-22 will have to mandatorily qualify the NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) examination.

About NATA 2021

The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is a national level examination conducted for admissions to the undergraduate courses in the Architecture stream. The NATA examination consists of two parts, the first part is a paper based drawing test, while the second part of NATA is an online test with multiple choice questions on various subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and General Aptitude Test. The NATA examination is conducted as a one day examination, twice a year across the country.

Meanwhile, Dr Abdul Kalam Technological University (AKTU) has also released an important notification regarding the JEE Main, UPCET 2021 counselling for the students belonging to the reserved category. It has been notified by the varsity that only those students will be benefited who will produce their reserved category certificate during the counselling process. Similar to B.Arch, AKTU has changed the eligibility exam for admission to BTech programme. Thus, JEE Main is the single gateway for admission to BTech courses in the University.
