However, the actual evaluation system will be exercised by the respective universities at their own discretion. This decision is to influence the administration of universities funded directly by the Delhi Government. This includes Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IP University), Delhi Technological University (DTU), Indira Gandhi Technical University for Women and Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD). The decision will not impact central universities like Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Jamia Millia Islamia and Delhi University. Meanwhile, UGC issued revised guidelines stating university exams to be held by September. Post which, Delhi became the first state to declare cancelling exams for the current year.
