ANGRAU BSc Agriculture Admission 2022 Open; Last Date for Seat Allotment is December 6


New Delhi: Acharya NG Ranga Agriculture University (ANGRAU) has notified that the seat allotment results of AP BSc Agriculture will be issued on December 06, 2022.

ANGRAU enabled the web options window for AP BSc Agriculture admission on December 01, 2022. Candidates can exercise the web options for two days. After the release of ANGRAU, the AP Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry and Veterinary admissions 2022 began. 

Candidate's admission to the BSc Agriculture, BSc Horticulture, BVSc and BFSc programmes in Andhra Pradesh are based on AP EAMCET rank. The University conducts an online counselling process for UG Agriculture and allied courses.

ANGRAU BSc Agriculture Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates seeking admission to the BSc Agriculture/ BSc Horticulture course will have to meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Candidates must have passed Intermediate with a minimum qualifying mark/ percentage.
  • Candidates must have studied two or three of the relevant subjects in the qualifying examination.
  • The minimum age of the candidate must be 17 years and the maximum age of the candidate must be 22 years.
  • Candidates must have appeared in Biology, Physics and Chemistry paper in AP EAMCET 2022.
  • Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh or Telangana.

ANGRAU BSc Agriculture Admission 2022: How to Apply? 

The university has released the application form for AP BSc/ Horticulture admission 2022. Candidates will have to register for the counselling by using their AP EAMCET hall ticket number.

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of ANGRAU @https://angrau.ac.in/

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the counselling fee of INR 1500 and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.

ANGRAU BSc Agriculture Admission 2022: Procedure 

  • Candidates must have passed Biology, Physics and Chemistry subjects in AP EAMCET 2022 to be considered for admission in BSc Agriculture and BSc Horticulture courses. 
  • However, the appearing and qualifying the entrance examination does not confirm admission in the professional course. 
  • Candidates must meet the minimum eligibility criteria at the time of admission to confirm admission in a specific course.
  • The minimum qualifying marks in AP EAMCET 2022 is 25 % of the total marks. There are no minimum qualifying marks for SC and ST candidates. 
  • AP EAMCET results are released after evaluation, scrutiny and normalisation. 
  • After the normalisation process, the rank card is prepared. 75% weightage is given to AP EAMCET entrance test and 25% weightage is given to Class XII marks.
  • Candidates must have a valid rank card for admission to a specific course. 

ANGRAU BSc Agriculture Admission 2022: Counselling 

Candidates who score the minimum qualifying marks and hold a valid rank card must appear for the counselling process. Go through the following steps to do the counselling process. 

Step 1: Visit the official website of ANGRAU

Step 2: Register for the counselling process. Candidates must have a valid AP EAMCET registration number, AP EAMCET Hall Ticket Number, AP EAMCET Rank card and Date of Birth to register for the AP EAMCET Counselling Process.

Step 3: Click “Generate Password” to create a password.

Step 4: Use the Registration number and password to exercise web options, which allow candidates to select colleges based on their choice and preference. Once the colleges are selected, candidates will have to save them. Based on their preference seats will be allotted.

Step 5: Candidates must regularly visit the official website and log in to check the status of seat allotment. 

Once an institute is offered, candidates must report at the allotted institute on the defined date. Candidates must carry with them all the required documents on the day of reporting for verification.
