Anna University to Hold Talent and Job Fair, Techknow 2022 from April 22-24

New Delhi: Anna University will conduct a talent and job fair, Techknow 2022, on the campus from April 22 to 24, 2022. Engineering students who wish to join the two-day event can now register for the same at techknow2022.in.

As per Anna University, the talent and job fair will include seminars and discussions on seven sectors that are coming forward to offer engineering job opportunities in the next few years. The event is open to all interested faculty members and students of Anna University Engineering courses or of other institutes. 

Anna University has joined hands with a leading organisation, All India Manufacturers Organisation and Consortium of Indian Associations to host the event. The initiative is supported by various self-financing professional arts and science colleges.

Additionally, for encouraging entrepreneurship, those who are studying B.Tech or graduated in the last three years can submit their ideas or projects on the website before April 10, 2022. A jury will select the best project and winners will receive financial support from Anna University Incubation Centre. University Vice-Chancellor R. Velraj is the chairman of the advisory committee of the event.

Talking about the event, KE Raghunathan, Chairman of the Organising Committee informed that at the Anna University Techknow 2022, professional speakers from different sectors will talk about growth prospects and expectations from students. 

The two-day event of Anna University will include the following highlights: 

• 2 Day Seminar and Talent & Job Fair on Emerging Sectors
• 2 Day Vendor Exhibition 
• Selection of Best Student Projects 
• Selection of Best Ideas to nurture projects 

As per the official notice, the university is expecting over 7000 students both in-person and online. The seminar will be inaugurated by the Chief Secretary of Govt of TN and Mr.Sunil Barthwal IAS, Secretary, Ministry of Labour & Employment, Govt of India, Higher Education Secretary"

"Govt of TN and Prof. Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman AICTE will also join the seminar and the final event will be graced by Hon’ble Chief Minister of TN, Industries Minister and Higher Education Minister" the official notice reads. 

Interested participants can join the event by submitting their registration before the event. The two-day Techknow event will be held on the campus ground of Anna University and will also include spot job interviews from participating companies.
