New Delhi: Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) has released the state-level Combined Entrance Examination or Assam CEE 2023 Date for the academic session 2023-24. The registration has been started today on March 14, whereas the Assam CEE 2023 exam will be held on May 28, Sunday, from 11 AM to 2 PM.
Candidates intending to appear for Assam CEE 2023 can register from till April 3, 2023. ASTU will release the Assam CEE 2023 Admit cards on its official portal @astu.ac.in 15 days before the commencement of the exam and the Assam CEE 2023 results will be declared within 10 days after the exam.

Assam CEE 2023: Eligibility Criteria
Candidate can check Assam CEE 2023 Eligibility Criteria given below:
- Nationality: Candidates must be Indian nationals.
- Domicile: Candidates must be a permanent resident of Assam.
- Age: Candidates should be at least 17 years of age as on December 31, 2023. There is no upper age limit.
- Academic Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).
- Other Eligibility Requirements: Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in 2023 are also eligible to apply. However, they must produce the proof of passing the examination at the time of admission.
ASTU conducts the Assam CEE 2023 for admission to BTech courses at Engineering colleges of Assam. The university has announced that the Assam CEE 2023 exam will be based on Class 11 and 12 syllabus of Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC).
The exam will be conducted for a duration of three hours as a single question paper, consisting of multiple-choice questions. The question paper will have three subjects – Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Each subject will carry 40 questions. One mark will be rewarded for each right answer, whereas one mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

Candidates can go through the following steps to apply for Assam CEE 2023 registration;
Step 1: Visit the official ASTU website at astu.ac.in.
Step 2: Go to the homepage and click on the registration link.
Step 3: Register yourself on the portal and fill up the application form.
Step 4: Upload the prescribed documents and pay the application fee.
Step 5: Submit the application form and take a printout for future references.
In order to enroll for Assam CEE 2023 registration, the candidates will have to pay an application fee of INR 1,000.
