Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) invites students to apply for Joint MCA Entrance Examination (JMEE) 2020.

Assam JMEE is a well-known entrance examination for admissions into 1st semester of Master of Computer Applications (MCA) program in affiliated colleges of ASTU, Guwahati.

Interested candidates have to apply online for JMEE through the official website of ASTU for admission into MCA for 2020-2021 academic year. The application window is open from June 25- July 20, 2020 for students to apply.

Assam JMEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria

To apply for JMEE 2020, interested candidates need to fulfil the following criteria:

  • Applicants need to between 20-26 years of age on the date of application
  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum 3 years) with an average score of 50% (45% for reserved categories)
  • Studied Mathematics as a subject in 10+2 or at graduation level
  • Final year bachelor’s degree students can also apply

Assam JMEE 2020 Application Form: How to Apply?

To apply for Assam JMEE 2020, students must follow these instructions mentioned below:

  1. Reach out to the official website of ASTU: astu.ac.in
  2. The website has a link to JMEE application form, blinking on the home page as JLEE 2020-JMLEE 2020 Online Application Submission
  3. Click on it, you will be redirected to an application instruction page
  4. Candidates have to register with tier valid email-ID and password
  5. Registration will be confirmed through an email.
  6. After registering, students have to apply by filling the details in the form.
  7. Upload all required documents, make payments

Retain a copy of the application form after submission, for availing admit card and other future references.

Assam JMEE 2020 Online Application: Documents Required

Before applying, candidates must ensure that they have access to sound internet connectivity and computing devices to fill forms online. Additionally, the documents required are as follows:

  1. Recent passport size photograph: less than 35 KB size, 250-320 pixels of height, 150-220 pixels of width
  2. Signature: less than 35 KB size, 100-180 pixels of height, 150-220 pixels of width
  3. Scanned copies of photographs and signature in JPEG/ JPG format
  4. Valid email-ID and mobile number for communication

Note: Students need to read through JMEE Information Brochure before filling forms, as any correction will not be entertained after complete payment and submission of application. 

Assam JMEE 2020 Syllabus

Assam JMEE 2020 will be a single paper exam for 3 hours duration. Check details below:

  • Language of instructions (Questions): English only
  • Question Type: Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs), 4 options for each question
  • Total number of MCQs: 100
  • Marks distribution: Total 400 marks (4 marks for each correct answer, 1 marks deducted for each wrong answer)
  • Question paper distribution: 
  1. Mathematics: 30 Questions 
  2. Reasoning: 30 Questions 
  3. English: 20 Questions
  4. Fundamentals of Computing: 20 Questions
