Bangalore University has launched a four-year Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science Honours degree courses for the academic year 2021-22 in accordance with National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
Bangalore University's newly introduced courses are specially designed to add skill-based, choice-based and cross-disciplinary, trans-disciplinary, and multi-disciplinary concepts in the course curriculum. The course will be offered to students in compliance with the NEP 2020.
Students while applying for Bangalore University Admission 2021, will have the option to choose elective subjects as per their interests. They will also have the option to leave the course in between by choosing the exit option. Course completion certificates will be offered to students based on their academic scores.
“Students who want to exit at first year can avail themselves of a certificate in Arts/Science, exit at the second year will get them a diploma, exit at the third year will get them a degree and the successful completion of four years will get them BA/BSc Honours" the official statement reads.
Bangalore University Courses & Fees 2021-22
The students have the provision to continue their education to post-graduation as well as Ph.D., Prof Venugopal said. He said after the completion of a three-year degree, students may pursue a specialization in a particular subject or can study research for one year.
Bangalore University, Vice-Chancellor Prof Venugopal stated that students will have the provision to continue with their post-graduation and Ph.D. degrees. After the completion of their degree course, they can choose to apply for the specialization course in their choice of subject.
BA Honours Course offered by Bangalore University is now available in various specializations for students, such as mass communication and journalism, and psychology, performing arts, and electives in science, engineering, commerce, and management.
As for science students, they have the option to apply for combined subjects. The specializations available under science courses are physics, chemistry, mathematics, statistics, and computer science and arts, commerce, and management disciplines among others.
To apply for the admission process, candidates will have to submit their applications for the same on the official website of Bangalore University.
