The Barkatullah University of Bhopal has commenced the Open Book Examination for various UG and PG courses from September 10, 2020. This year the University will be taking only one question paper for each subject.
Barkatullah University: Open Book Examination Procedure
The BU, Bhopal University uploaded the question paper for all the courses on the official website at 10:00 am. Students now have the duration of six days to complete the examination and upload their answer sheets on the University's website.
Students can upload the answer sheet on September 15 and September 16, 2020. Answer sheets uploaded after that will not be accepted as the link would be deactivated. The Barkatullah University has set up collection centres in the colleges and other higher secondary schools in each block, to facilitate the submission of the answer sheets. Despite the online submission of answer sheets, students can also submit it via post.

The BU, Bhopal answer sheet will comprise 16 pages of A4 size. On the first page, students have to mention the details asked. Students are advised to keep the scanned copy of the admit card, as it has to be submitted along with the answer sheets.
In the recent order, the Supreme Court has asked all the Universities to complete final year examinations as per the UGC guidelines i.e by September end. However, the courts have also allowed states to hold the exams on the date they deem appropriate, only after consulting UGC.
