BFUHS Releases New Venue Information for the NEET UG Stray Vacancy Round, With 654 Seats Available


New Delhi: Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) in Faridkot has disclosed the new location information for the physical stray vacancy round of NEET UG admission. For this particular round, the seat matrix has also been made available.


The Senate Hall at BFUHS in Faridkot has been switched to the Auditorium of GGS Medical College in Faridkot for the physically stray vacant round of NEET UG Counselling, that will take place on December 27, 2022.

The applicants who will re-register/ Applicants who have already enrolled for Rounds 1 and 2 of the AIQ/State Quota but do not currently hold any seats/ AIQ or State Quota candidates who were not given seats during the mop-up round are qualified for the round of stray vacancies.

Aspirants who took the State Quota or AIQ Round II seat that was assigned to them/ Candidates given a seat in the MCC/State mop-up round/ Candidates who were given seats in the MCC/State mop-up round but did not show up are ineligible for the round of stray vacancies

Candidates who joined a seat in the MCC or State mop-up round/ Applicant has a seat in the state quota or has joined it are also ineligible for the stray vacancy round. 654 seats are vacant for the NEET UG admissions round with a single vacancy. The BDS course had the most open slots on record this year.

By virtue of Punjab Act No. 18, the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences was founded in July 1998. It bears the name of Baba Farid, a Faridkot-based Punjabi Sufi who lived in the 12th century.

The University's purpose is to develop an intellectual, academic, and physical environment that supports the free interchange of thoughts and data between its several faculties and with other Universities of Health Sciences in the nation and worldwide.
