Bharathiar University M.Phil & PhD Admission 2022 Open: Apply till September 30

New Delhi: Bharathiar University has started accepting applications for M.Phil. and PhD programs for the academic session 2022-23. Interested candidates can apply online on the official website, b-u.ac.in.

 

Bharathiar University has degree programs in many different areas, such as the social sciences, physical sciences, life sciences, education, economics, chemical sciences, and so on. For candidates to get into the M.Phil and PhD programs, they have to take the Common Eligibility Test (CET).

Admission to the M.Phil and PhD programs at Bharathiar University has begun. Up until September 30, 2022, people can fill in the application online at their website. Candidates are short-listed on the basis of their CET examination score, which is mandatory for all applicants. The date for the CET examination shall be notified on the website.

People can apply for the M.Phil and PhD programmes if they get at least 25 out of 50 points. Common Eligibility Test is not required for UGC, CSIR-NET, SET, GATE, M.Phil., Teacher Fellowship, DST INSPIRE Fellow, Scientists working in DRDO, Faculty of Air Force Administrative College, and candidates with a PG degree from abroad (CET).

Candidates with at least 55% in their Master's degree in the relevant subject or discipline are eligible to take the CET, for SC/ST Candidates, the minimum eligibility is 50%, and for admission to the M.Phil. and PhD programs, a copy of the PG mark statements should be enclosed.

Selection procedure: Candidates are chosen based on their performance in the UGC, CSIR-NET, SET, GATE, M.Phil., qualified, Teacher Fellowship holders, DST INSPIRE Fellows, scientists working in DRDO, faculty of the Air Force Administrative College, candidates who obtained a PG degree from abroad, and the university's CET. Candidates must receive at least a 25 out of 50 in order to be shortlisted.

Step 1: Visit the application portal of Bharathiar University at b-u.ac.in

Step 2: Fill in the required details to Register yourself.

Step 3: After signing up, log in using your registration details and fill in all required details in the Application form.

Step 4: Do payment of the application fee of INR 750 and submit the application form.

Step 5: Print out the confirmation page for future reference.
