Bharathiar University M.Phil & PhD Admission 2022 Open; Last Date to Apply is August 10

New Delhi: Bharathiar University has begun the application process for admission for M.Phil and PhD programmes for the academic year 2022-2023. Candidates can apply online through the official website b-u.ac.in 

Bharathiar University offers various degree programmes in several fields such as Social Sciences, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Education, Economics, Chemical Sciences, and so on. Candidates have to sit for Common Eligibility Test (CET) for admission to the M.Phil and PhD programmes. 

Candidates who have not received their final year mark sheets or certificates can also apply for the courses at Bharathiar University. However, they should fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria and produce the same at the time of admission. 

Admission to the Bharathiar University for the M.Phil and PhD programmes has begun. Candidates can apply online through the website till August 10, 2022. The CET will be conducted on August 29, 2022.

Candidates securing minimum 15 out of 50 marks are eligible to apply for the M.Phil and PhD, programmes. UGC /CSIR-NET / SET / GATE / M.Phil., Qualified / Teacher Fellowship holders/ DST INSPIRE Fellow/ Scientists working in DRDO / Faculty of Air Force Administrative College and the candidates who obtained PG degree from abroad need not appear for Common Eligibility Test (CET).

Candidates having minimum 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s degree in the respective subject/discipline are eligible to appear for CET (for SC/ST Candidates the minimum eligibility is 50 %) and copy of the PG mark statements should be enclosed for admission to the M.Phil and PhD programmes. 

Selection Process: Candidates are selected based on their merit on UGC / CSIR-NET / SET / GATE / M.Phil., Qualified / Teacher Fellowship holders / DST INSPIRE Fellow/ Scientists working in DRDO / Faculty of Air Force Administrative College/ Candidates who obtained PG degree from abroad/ CET held by the university. Candidates should at least score 15 out of 50 in order to be considered for shortlisting. 

Bharathiar University M.Phil & PhD Admission 2022: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of Bharathiar University at b-u.ac.in

Step 2: Register yourself after filling in the required details, such as Mobile Number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, log in with your registration credentials and fill in all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee of INR 500 and submit the application form.

Step 5: Applicants must also take a printout of the form for all future needs.
