BHU CUET 2022 Counselling Preference Entry window to reopen on October 9, Check here

New Delhi: The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has decided to extend the registration dates for the counselling process till October 8, 2022, and to reopen the preference entry window of the BHU CUET 2022 counselling on October 9, 2022. 

The update of data received from the National Testing Agency (NTA) in the online system is the main reason for the unavailability of the BHU CUET 2022 counselling preference entry form.

According to the official BHU website, the registration date for UG admission has been extended till October 8, 2022. While the counselling portal for Preference Entry will be closed for updating data received from NTA between October 4 and 5, 2022. Later, the counselling portal for preference entry will reopen on October 6 to 9, 2022.

Candidates seeking admission to the UG programmes can register for BHU counselling 2022 based on their CUET 2022 scores, as per the step-by-step process mentioned below:

Step 1: Visit the official website - http://bhuonline.in/

Step 2: Click on Click here to Apply and a new page will open up

Step 3: Next, login using CUET 2022 application number and CUET 2022 Roll Number/ Hall Ticket Number

Step 4: Now, select courses, and fill the academic and personal details, as well as upload relevant documents

Some of the details like CUET 2022 scores for the subjects chosen, ranks and category rank will be autofilled in the application form. Candidates must cross-verify all details and submit the counselling registration form after paying the counselling fee - INR 200 for Gen/ OBC/ EWS and INR 100 for SC/ ST/ PWD

Further, the candidates will be able to add their preferences once the counselling preference form is available on the BHU Website @http://bhuonline.in/. 

BHU CUET 2022 Counselling: Documents Required 

Following are the documents that should be uploaded while registering for the BHU CUET 2022 Counselling. 

• Score card of CUET (UG)2022
• Matriculation or its equivalent certificate to ascertain the date of birth.
• Mark sheet of 12th or qualifying examination.
• Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) and income certificate
• (SC/ST) issued by the appropriate authority, if admission is sought under that category.
• PwD Certificate, if applicable
