BHU Forms Committee to Focus on International Collaborations and Admissions; Check Details Here

New Delhi: Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has recently established a steering committee to concentrate on admissions tactics and collaboration. The committee has been established with the aim to increase the number of international collaborations, and admissions.

As per Banaras Hindu University (BHU), the newly formed committee will focus on global partnerships and admissions. The university has taken the initiative to forge and expand ties with foreign universities, organisations, and scientific societies.

BHU has made the decision to exert all of its resources so that the committee will concentrate on numerous fruitful tactics that will further improve foreign admissions, collaborations and the alumni network. It has appointed personnel tasked with strengthening its standing globally and fostering international ties.

V Chalapathi Rao, Coordinator of international collaborations at BHU, serves as the chair and manager of the steering committee, and SVS Raju, Coordinator of foreign students and housing at BHU, serves as co-chairman of this recently formed council.

The BHU committee's main goal will be to aid in the recruitment of grants, scholarships, fellowships, and chair professorships from various international funding organisations and academic organisations. It will promote collaboration with international organisations and provide guidance for international admissions.

In addition to this, the committee will be managing the collaborations between BHU and other international stakeholders in the best interests of BHU students and faculty. Sudhir Kumar, BHU's vice chancellor, will concentrate on the university's alumni base. This will consequently result in general success in education.

Furthermore, it will offer helpful advice in the formation of a powerful international alumni network. Ramesh Chand, consultant and former director of the BHU Institute of Agricultural Sciences, and Madhoolika Agarawal, dean of the university's faculty of science, serve as the administering committee's advisors.

The University of Tokyo, Seetha Ram, the British Council, South Asia, and Senior Advisor Sudhanshu Sinha are a few of the international donors and advisors. The BHU committee consists of Manish Arora from the Faculty of Visual Arts and Archana Tiwari from the Faculty of Science.

Additionally, Institute of Environment and Sustainable Development, Prashant Srivastava; Faculty of Ayurveda, Kishor Patwardhan; Faculty of Arts, Sachin Tiwari, Firoz and Chandani Kumari; Institute of Medical Sciences, Atanu Roy and Public Relations Officer and Assistant Information, Chander Shekher have also joined the committee.
