BHU Opens Window to Change Exam Centre Preference for UET and PET 2020

Banaras Hindu University has allowed candidates to change their preferred examination centres for BHU UET and PET 2020. Candidates can now select their preferred test centres from the five cities they had earlier chosen for taking the BHU UET or PET.

The last date for making changes in the examination centre preference is 20 June, Candidates need not pay any additional fees for making changes.

The official notification released by BHU says, “While submitting the online application form, the applicants had given a choice of 5 Test Cities, in order of preference. The University is making an effort to allot to any applicant his or her most preferred test city (choice 1 while filling up the application form) or any other centre in the radius of 200 kilometres of the most preferred test city.

“However, there could be a number of applicants who had initially opted for a particular Test City as choice 1, have now moved far away from the same during the lockdown and it might be inconvenient for them to appear in the entrance test at the Test City originally preferred. For such candidates, the University is giving an option to request for a change in most preferred Test City (Choice 1).”
