New Delhi: Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has recently released an admission notification for its undergraduate courses for the academic session 2023-24. As per the notice, the admission process for undergraduate courses will start in the last week of May 2023.
As per BHU, candidates who wish to apply for admission to various undergraduate courses offered by the university are required to register for CUET UG 2023. The Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) scores are mandatory for applicants to be considered for admission.
However, for a few BHU UG Courses 2023, the university will shortlist eligible applicants for admission seats on the basis of other components which include marks secured in the qualifying entrance exam (BHU UET 2023). Candidates can check the notice at bhuonline.in.
Informing about the BHU UG Admission 2023 process, the notice reads, "CUCET 2023 will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Admission to BHU courses will be based on the merit in the BHU-UET 2023 subject to fulfilment of eligibility requirements of the course".

Earlier, NTA started the CUET UG 2023 registration process for all interested candidates on February 09, 2023. Candidates who wish to appear for the entrance exam need to submit their online application form along with the required documents by March 12, 2023.
Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is a common entrance exam which is held for admission to UG and PG programs. On the basis of marks secured in the test, candidates are allotted seats in CUET score-accepting colleges including central and state universities.
