BITS Pilani & Coursera Roll Out First Online B.Sc in Computer Science Programme; Apply till November 15

New Delhi: Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani has partnered with Coursera, to roll out an online Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal @coursera.org, by November 15, 2022. 

BITS Pilani and Coursera have decided to commence the first cohort of the online B.Sc in Computer Science programme on November 30, 2022. Thus, interested candidates can register for the programme on or before November 15, 2022. 

Candidates willing to take admissions to the online BSc programme in Computer Science Specialization must note that the early application deadline is till October 17, while the final deadline to apply is November 15.

Candidates intending to pursue the first online B.Sc in Computer science programme must note that there's no entrance exam and the admission is open to the candidates from diverse profiles, including those without a science or significant mathematics background. Aspiring candidates should meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Proficiency in spoken and written English. 
• Proficiency in Mathematics
• A class 12 or its equivalent. qualifications. 

BITS Pilani Online BSc Admission 2022: Course Duration 

Candidates seeking admissions to the online BSc programme can take up to six years to complete this three-year degree, which will enable flexibility for learners to pursue the programme while working or along with pursuing any other degree programme. 

However, the programme also features an intermediate exit option of a diploma, which the students can earn in about two years.

BITS Pilani Online BSc Admission 2022: Career Preparation & Alumni Network 

The BSc programme in Computer Science will offer periodic live sessions so that the students can connect with BITS Pilani’s faculty and peers in real-time. Learners will have access to career services, such as resume checks and help with job interviews, when required. Step 1: Visit the official Coursera website @coursera.org. 

Step 2: On the home page, search for the option of ‘online degrees’ in the top scroll. 

Step 3: Now, scroll down and click on the link for ‘Computer Science and Engineering Degrees’ 

Step 4: It will redirect to a new page, where you should click on the ‘show more’ option to open the link for BSc Computer Science from BITS.

Step 5: Click on the ‘apply now’ option and fill in all the required personal information and submit the form with the registration fees, if required.

Step 6: Check all the details, download and save and take a printout of the application form for future reference.
