BITSAT 2020: Iteration-II Results Released on October 15, 2020 @bitsadmission.com


The BITSAT 2020 Iteration-II results has now been declared on October 15, 2020, at 9:15 PM on their official website. Candidates can get the direct link here as soon as the results are released

The Birla Institute of Technology and Science [BITS], Pilani has announced the BITSAT 2020 Iteration-I result on October 05, 2020. Candidates who have appeared for BITSAT 2020 will be able to check their result online on the official website of BITS Pilani. 

To check BITSAT 2020 results online, students have to login using their login credentials. After the declaration of the BITSAT Scorecard, the admission authority has released the merit list.

After clearing the cut-off, candidates can take admission to the respective degree courses in college campuses at BITS Pilani, BITS Goa and BITS Hyderabad

Toppers of the respective boards are offered direct admission i.e. based on their performance in Class 12 to BITS campuses.

How to Check BITSAT 2020 Result? 

BITSAT result is declared online on the official website of BITS, Pilani. The step-by-step procedure to check the BITSAT Result is given below: 

  • Visit the official website
  • On clicking, the login window will appear on the screen, enter the user id and password. 
  • On entering the username and password, click on Login.
  • Click on ‘Check Result’.
  • Download the result for further reference.

BITSAT 2020 Merit List

Candidates who have submitted the application form after mentioning their Class 12 marks, course preferences and have cleared BITSAT will find a place in the merit list. The merit list of eligible candidates is prepared based on candidate’s marks in BITSAT 2020. 

Tie-Breaking Criteria for BITSAT Merit List 2020

If two or more candidates secure the same marks in BITSAT, then the tie-breaking policy given below is followed to resolve the ties. 

  • Candidates who obtain higher marks in Mathematics / Biology are given the first priority.
  • If the tie is still there, the candidate who secured high marks in Physics in the entrance exam is given preference.
  • If the tie is still not resolved, the candidate with higher marks in Chemistry is given preference.
  • In case the tie still exists, marks obtained in PCM in Class 12th are considered.

What is the BITSAT Waiting List 2020? 

For each BITSAT Iteration round, BITS release cut-off marks. Candidates who fulfill the cut-off scores can take admission by paying the requisite amount of admission fees. 

Candidates who do not clear the cut-off scores find a place in the waitlist. These candidates have to then wait for the next round of iteration to take admission. 

BITSAT 2020 Iteration and Admission

BITS fills the seats in all its campuses by conducting numerous iteration rounds. The number of rounds depends on the number of vacancies. After the declaration of the merit list for each round of counselling, candidates are required to complete the admission process i.e. pay the application fees and fulfil all the formalities. 

About BITSAT 2020

BITSAT is conducted by BITS Pilani for admission into the Integrated first degree courses. It is a computer-based test. This exam is conducted for admission to the three campuses of BITS situated at Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad. The entrance exam comprises four parts and the questions are based on the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology.
