BITSAT 2020 Starts September 16, Check Instructions for Exam Day, COVID-19 here


Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani will be conducting the BITSAT 2020 from September 16, 2020. Candidates need to adhere to all the guidelines before they sit exams amid COVID-19 pandemic. Read details below.


BITS Pilani is all set to begin its online admission test, BITSAT 2020 from September 16, 2020. Considering the current pandemic situation, this year, the exams will be held on four days, September 16, 18, 21 and 23. 

Earlier, the coordinating authority released the BITSAT 2020 Admit Card on September 13. Students can download the admit card till 1 PM of September 23, 2020. As of now, the exam centre changing facility has been closed. BITSAT slot booking had begun on September 9. 

BITSAT is an online test of 3 hours with 150 questions in 4 sections: English Proficiency & Logical Reasoning, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology.

BITSAT 2020: Important Instructions for Exam Day

  • BITSAT 2020 candidates will be thermally scanning at the entrance gate of the exam venue.
  • Candidates with COVID-19 symptoms are not permitted entry at BITSAT exam centres 2020.
  • Self declaration form has been released along with BITSAT admit card 2020. Students have to duly sign them and bring them to the exam centre.
  • Candidates have to reach the exam centre about one and a half hours before the exam time. Students will be permitted entry as per schedule mentioned in admit cards. 
  • Entry will be disallowed at least 30 minutes before the exam begins.
  • Students have to carry valid photo ID proof along with BITSAT admit card 2020.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to carry items other than face masks, gloves, transparent water bottles and hand sanitizer (50 ml) with them.
  • Candidates have to follow social distancing norms all throughout and abide by instructions put forth by invigilators.
