BRAOU Admission 2023 Open for PhD Program; Last Date to Apply is May 8

New Delhi: Dr BR Ambedkar Open University, Baddi has begun the application process for admission to its PhD program for the academic session 2023-24. Interested and eligible candidates can enroll for PhD Admission through the official portal, @braouonline.in

BRAOU offers a full-time Ph.D. Programme in various disciplines including English, Hindi, Education, History, Political Science, Public Administration, Sociology, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Environmental Science.

Candidates intending to enroll for the PhD program can submit their applications till May 8, 2023. BRAOU Admission 2023 to the PhD programme is based on the merit obtained by the candidates in the written test followed by the interview round.

The BRAOU officials have notified that the PhD admission process is strictly as per UGC regulations 2022 and will be held online.

BRAOU PhD Admission 2023: Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to the Dr BR Ambedkar Open University PhD program, candidates will have to meet the requisite eligibility & selection criteria.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates holding a Master's degree with at least 55% of the required marks, an equivalent grade or CGPA, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the university are eligible for a PhD Admission. 
• Candidates who have passed the relevant UGC-NET, SLET, GATE, or GPAT exam are not required to take the entrance exam.
• Candidates will have to secure at least 40% marks (35% for SC/ST/PH) in the entrance test in order to qualify for the interview round.

 Selection Process:

• Candidate's selection to the PhD program will be done through their merit in the written test followed by their performance in the interview process.

Step 2: On the homepage, search for the registration window and register yourself by filling in the required details.

Step 3: Now, use the registration credentials to log in and fill in the application form.
