What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

“To be able to build futures for aspiring students in this field”

There are some important key factors that keep me connected with the education sector and that's my hard work, patience and passion to share my experiences with my students. I strongly believe it's the teacher who can shape the future of any student, and we want a bright future for our country. 

What is your philosophy of leadership?

“Being motivated and spread positivity to become an inspiration”

I believe the policy that a leader is a personality who encourages their staff or team members to do their best for a better outcome. A leader is not someone who just orders their staff or team members to do the work alone. Being democratic in the approach is essential in today’s time.

How does the curriculum ensure the best practice of industry?

“Motivating students to participate in fashion exhibitions and industrial projects”

We don’t just focus on students in academics but also on their future personal growth. From the very first semester, students are indulged in every practical activity like organizing an exhibition, fashion shows etc. We develop their personal interests and make them actively participate in every single program. 

Any insights into how your University could be more welcoming to students?

“A zero-discrimination policy is strictly followed in campus“

We don't believe in racism in any way so people of any race, caste, or gender are always welcome here. Comparatively to other private universities, our fees are low regardless of economic background. Scholarships are also available for deserving candidates who cannot afford the amount of fees.

Our main priority is to shape the students' bright future and build commendable professionals. For the future, we wish to establish more industrial collaborations and also focus on live field projects”

What has been your vision for the University and its growth?

“Focusing on the growth of the university and providing a bright career for the students”

When I first came to MATS University my vision was to grow my department tremendously. And it evolved over time. I'll be happy to share that I started with 10 students and now after serving for a good 13 years I have a total of 250+ students per year in my department. It was possible because of the management’s vision and smart work.
