Having held important positions in DAVV, Indore, you must have had some important lessons to give to the students. Would you like to share some of such lessons?

“Be consistent in attending classes”

My tenure in the field of education has been filled with experiences that involved a vast array of students, who have had varied views and outlooks towards education or their courses. However, my only lesson or advice to all the students is that they should come to college on time and attend their classes diligently, as they should value the time they have and make the most of it.

What are your opinions on effective leadership?

“Leadership is a virtue that is highly fragile to handle”

I believe that leadership is a rather tedious job to handle and I would like to advise the students to be honest and truthful as these would always help them navigate their way through life. I think the students, for effective leadership, should speak with truth and courage.

What are some of the achievements that your department has experienced under your tenure?

“We keep on motivating our students to aim for higher education”

I feel honoured to tell the students that we have a new, state-of-art physics lab and I believe that such improvements should be strived for repeatedly if we want to transform the students into sensible and self-reliant decision-makers. Keeping the very same motive in mind, we constantly motivate our students to aim for the highest levels of education that they can.

What are your views on the education system of our country?

“We, as a nation, have made some good achievements in our education since Independence”

I think that the efforts to make education simple and accessible will have a detrimental impact on our country’s future, as students would not be aware of the complexities of their field of study and that can be an obstacle in their path of achieving employment.

What were your expectations about the growth of the university, when you joined it? Has the growth happened in that direction, according to you?

“I feel empowered when students perform well in their lives”

When I joined the college, I thought that I can give a good education to all the students. Looking back, I feel that I made a good decision and I feel empowered when students do good in their lives. This motivates me to keep on working the way I am. I also believe that my college and I have evolved with the passage of time and I feel delighted about it.

How do you plan to acquaint the students and make them thrive in the competitive world today?

“We inculcate necessary skills in our students to become successful in their career”

The world today is very competitive and it is imperative for us to teach our students the skills to get through this world and emerge successfully. I believe that education, when imparted coupled with attaining practical knowledge, can be a great tool to help students work with a degree of confidence that helps them work with dedication.

How do you aim to build rapport with the students and the faculty?

“I believe that good communication is important between students and teachers”

When it comes to students, I find it easy to talk to them. I feel good to know that they also find it comfortable to talk to me. I believe good communication is important between students and teachers as the latter can assure that the grievances of students are redressed and the students become instruments of social change.
