How do you tend to establish healthy relations with the students and fellow faculty?

“By using humour in teaching methods and demonstrating respect for students”

I believe that healthy relations can be established with students and fellow faculty by teaching with high enthusiasm, having a positive attitude, incorporating humour in teaching methods, treating the students with due respect, etc. These are the major factors that help us create happy and healthy relationships among students and faculty. It also brings about positivity in the environment of the Institution.

How do you try to bring in a practical approach towards subjects?

“In addition to CBCS (Choice Based Credit System), the curriculum is entirely practical in nature”

The Information Technology industry is showing signs of high growth and is a dynamic field. Therefore, by conducting the Board of Studies meeting and taking advice from the experts of this field, we update the syllabus almost every session. Since we have adopted CBCS (Choice Based Credit System) our focus and the main objective of the syllabuses are completely practical oriented. Our students benefit from expert talks conducted by professionals, who enrich their knowledge of professional etiquette.

How do you help your student to thrive actively in the current academic world?

“Continuous assessment and a positive learning environment”

We provide a competitive environment inside the classroom that helps them to cope up with the competition outside the world. We keep taking tests, exams frequently so that students constantly feel that they are in competition with each other. We keep the level of these tests standardized and according to what is prevailing in the market. Thus, our students are well prepared for the high level of competition outside.

Do you have any extracurricular activities to enhance the skills of the students?

“Social activities on special occasions and in rural areas adopted by the college”

We have many extracurricular activities and programs such as “Deep Daan” during 5 days of the Deepawali festival, “Udaan” during teachers’ day and many other events. We conduct these extracurricular activities to expose them to real-world challenges. Our department has adopted five small villages near the Raipur district where we take our students for various social work activities. This keeps them connected to the real world and brings in a moral behaviour change.

What valuable advice would you like to give the students?

“Be kind to yourself and have patience and perseverance”

I believe that no one is tailor-made for something specific and no one is fit enough for all that comes in their direction. There will be things that the others are astoundingly acceptable at while you are not. As opposed to surrendering or feeling awful about something you were unable to progress admirably, simply be kind to yourself. Realize that a couple of shortcomings are only a significant element for any effective human. You do not need to dominate all that comes to your direction.
