Calcutta University Admission 2022 Open for PhD in Chemical Engineering Program: Apply till September 29

New Delhi: Calcutta University has started the admission process for its PhD Program offered under Department of Chemical Engineering for the academic session 2022-23. Interested candidates can now submit their applications till September 29, 2022. 

As per Calcutta University, applicants who wish to apply for admission full-time PhD in Chemical Engineering program can now download the application form from the official website and submit the same to the respective HOD.

To apply for Calcutta University PhD Admission 2022, interested candidates need to have a Bachelor’s Degree Science/ Engineering or a Masters degree in Science from any UGC recognized university. 

An exemption has been provided to applicants who have qualified UGC/CSIR (JRF) Examinations/NET /SET/SLET/GATE/ Teacher Fellowship or have obtained DST INSPIRE Fellowship / Teacher Fellowship or have passed equivalent examinations or passed the M.Phil./M.Tech./M.D./ M.E./M.Pharm. or equivalent examination. They shall not be required to appear at the Ph.D. entrance test and they are eligible for directly appearing at the interview.

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of Calcutta University at www.caluniv.ac.in.

Step 2: From the homepage, scroll down to the “news and announcement” and click on the latest “Admission/Examination Notice” notice link available.

Step 3: Scroll to the “PhD Admission in Chemical Engineering” and click on it,Read the instructions with care and download the application form from the website.

Step 4: Fill out the application form and attach a copy of the mentioned documents, along with the application fee deposit slip.

Step 5: Submit the application form at the Calcutta University HOD, on or before the given deadline: September 29, 2022
