Calicut University BEd Admission 2022 Open: Last Date Extended till August 31

New Delhi: Calicut University has extended the application process for admission to BEd Program for the academic session 2022-23. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for admission through the official website at admission.uoc.ac.in by August 31, 2022. 

As per Calicut University, candidates who wish to apply for BEd admissions are required to have a bachelor’s degree in the required discipline such as BTech, BSc or BA with at least 55% marks from a UGC recognised university or educational institute. 

After the application process, the university will select registered applicants for Calicut University BEd Admission 2022 on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examinations: UG or PG degree examinations.

Candidates who wish to apply for admission to Calicut University BEd Course for session 2022-23 can check the detailed eligibility criteria and selection process mentioned below: 

• Bachelor's in Engineering or Bachelor's in Technology with 55% marks/grade in the aggregate are eligible to apply for B.Ed program in Physical Science and Mathematics.
• Or B.A/B.Sc or Equivalent degree from a recognized university or educational institute with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade. 
• There is no upper age limit for admission to BEd courses. 
• The selection of applicants will be based on the aggregate marks/grade obtained by the applicants in the UG Degree / PG Degree Examination.

As per the official website, "Candidates should be physically fit and mentally sound. Deaf/Dumb candidates are not eligible. However, blind candidates will be eligible for admission to the program other than science optional".
